On behalf of the International Committee in Search of Justice (ISJ), I would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims of the attack in Nice, their families and to the people and Government of France.
We are shocked by this terrible crime and we all stand by France.
The Islamic Fundamentalism, whether Sunni under the banner of ISIS (Daesh) or Shiite sponsored by the Iranian regime, has been the main inspiration for such brutal terrorist attacks and has to be confronted at its roots.
It is quite clear that Syria has become the breeding ground of Islamic extremists and as long as Bashar Assad remains in power, the situation will not change and will get worse.
At the same time, we should extend our hands to those progressive Muslims who believe in a tolerant and democratic Islam and have flatly rejected terrorism as contrary to the principles of their religion.
