FREE IRAN WORLD SUMMIT 2021

International Committee in Search of Justice was one of the co-sponsors of the Free Iran World Summit 2021 to express its support for the Iranian people’s desire for a democratic, secular, and non-nuclear Republic of Iran and condemning violations of human rights and state-sponsored terrorism by the Iranian Government.

The three-day Free Iran World Summit – 2021 convened with the participation of Iranians and supporters of the Resistance from more than 50,000 locations in 105 countries around the world. In total 302 Iranian associations and communities in Europe, America, Canada and Australia were present.

As the Free Iran Summit began, thousands of Iranians assembled in Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, and other Iranian rallies in 16 capitals and major cities were simultaneously livestreamed with the Free Iran Summit, including in Paris, Washington, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Oslo, Vienna, Rome and Geneva.

At the beginning of the event, video messages from more than 1,000 members of the MEK Resistance Units from inside Iran were broadcast on the LED screens, amid the regime’s repression. The videos showed young rebellious units with their faces covered not to be identified expressing their resolve to change the religious dictatorship into a democratic republic. Live communications with and speeches from a number of members of the Resistance Units within Iran deeply moved and energized the participants at the summit.

Dozens of prominent U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives from both the Democratic and Republican parties and several former European ministers, including former foreign ministers of France, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, and former defense ministers of the UK, France and Czech Republic, as well as the leader of Europe’s largest People’s Party attended and contributed to the Summit.

In total, more than 1000 dignitaries including 10 Prime Minister, 5 Speaker of Parliament, 70 former ministers from different countries of the world, 30 senators and members of the US Congress, 30 prominent American personalities and 250 legislators from the European and Arab countries as well as Canada and Australia participated making the event one of the most powerful manifestations of international solidarity with the people of Iran for a democratic, secular, and non-nuclear Republic of Iran.
